Today’s Inspiration

Do you continually find yourself making decisions from your head with this leaving you feeling frustrated because you are still not living the life you truly desire? To live life fully means making decisions with a body-mind-soul connection through the practice of getting out of your busy head and allowing your heart to be the director of  your decisions. Reconnect to your whole body today.

Coaching Tip

I was coaching a client last week about this very subject who claimed to me that he was so use to making decisions from his head that he truly did not know how to make decisions from his heart. Can you relate to this? I certainly have been there myself to which I have found some really simple and effective tools that have helped me to practice my commitment of making decisions from my heart. When I first started these new practices, they seemed so simple I did not believe that they would truly work. Notice how much you may push aside the simplicity of things by not making time to do them regularly. They just may change your life as they have mine.

Here are some of the many tools I practice : consciously take 3 deep breaths 5 times throughout your day, 15 mins of relaxing your mind by focussing on your breath, trusting your gut feelings/intuition and taking inspired actions, moving your body in ways you enjoy, journal writing, practice tuning into your heart feelings each day by asking yourself “how do I feel right now?”, thank 1 person each day, acknowledge everything you have participated in throughout your day, write down 5 things you are grateful for each day.

Achieve More in Less Time

Today’s Inspiration

Accomplishment occurs when you are fully present on your chosen action inside the allocated time you have set realistically to do that particular action in. Are you doing one thing and focusing on everything else that still needs to be done feeling frantic about time and wondering how you are going to fit it all in? You will achieve much more in less time when you are fully present.

Coaching Tip

Most of the time we are doing one thing and focusing on everything else that still has to be done. When you de-compartmentalise your daily actions in time schedule break downs and then focus on the one thing you have allocated the time to do staying 100% present in the moment until the time you have allocated is up, then you can focus your mind on the next job at hand.

This is how you will get more accomplished and stop the overwhelm in every area of your life. It is never about ‘time’ – it is always about what you choose to do inside your time, accompanied with mindset and focus. Practice today to be 100% present – in the moment.

It’s My Birthday Special – Reflections

Today’s Inspiration

I find birthdays are a great time for honest reflection as to whether I am really on track at a deeper heart level steering my life in the direction I say I want to go.

The truth is there  are always things outside of our control that cannot be understood (no matter how hard you try) with the only way through being to remain focused on what you have achieved and what you can take control of using heart responsibility and accountability.

Coaching Tip

As I reflect upon the past year, I have witnessed many challenges, many exciting moments, many times of uncertainty, many successful achievements all wrapped up into One! Yes, this is all a part of being humanly real inside of my true commitment of being ‘the best me’ I possibly can be each and every day.

Upon my honest reflections today, I am conscious about not making certain things wrong that did not work out or the unpleasant challenges or noticing the things that still have not yet happened in my life, and to consciously look at how I have grown by learning better ways of dealing with those challenges at a heart shifting level. This is what has been the most important aspect of my reflections today which I share with you from the bottom of my heart.

comes to you. As you develop personally and professionally, you may prefer to become attractive to 
opportunities, others, potential customers, ourselves and the future, rather than being better at
promoting, marketing, seducing, controlling or manipulating.

• Create a strong vision of what you truly desire

• Live your life with integrity
• Create a reserve of time, space, energy and money
• Take extreme self-care and invest in yourself

Money does not have emotion – so why not keep the emotion out of money and handle it intelligently.
What is your relationship like with money? Do you feel a sense of lack when you think about money?
If you think and feel ‘lack’ when it comes to money and wanting to attract more, then your bank
account will reflect this every time. Begin to create a new relationship with money for wealth attraction.

Coaching Tip

If you look at your financial figures in a state of lack, then you will definitely stay in a state of lack. You need to change the way you think and feel about money to attract more. Stop thinking it is an outside job alone based on how much is coming in because how much is coming into your bank account is always a direct reflection of what you think and feel about money which will always affect your ability to attract more.

Start today to create a positive relationship with money by valuing what you have coming in and focus on a specific  amount you would like to attract. Then stay in a state of high vibration by thinking positive and feeling as though you already have this in your bank account. Look out for opportunities and take the necessary actions to support your financial vision.

Stop looking for ‘The Right Direction’ and start moving in ‘Your Right Direction’. Are you moving towards what you say you want in life and business or are you moving away from it? Trust your intuition and gut feelings having the courage to take actions that feel right for you each day.

Coaching Tip

It is so easy to get caught up in non-productive action that will make you feel like you are moving forward when really it is an illusion because it may make you feel warm and fuzzy at the time. Become conscious about your every day actions and challenge yourself to get honest with yourself and ask whether this action you are taking moves you towards what you want or away from it.

How do I know the difference, you ask?

Your Right Direction action will feel very rewarding in every cell of your being giving you a sense of purpose for a longer period of time. The Right Direction will be a very short lived gratification with an empty feeling and lack of purposeful direction which is normally based on what others are saying is how things should be done! By taking the focus off ‘getting the next client’ and remaining focused on building genuine relationships, you will create an instant lifestyle with people you really enjoy connecting with who will connect you with more of the same type of people.

Coaching Tip

Marketing your business does not need to be uncomfortable. When I first started my business, I did not enjoy this part at all because I thought I had to network everywhere with everybody and as much as I could. In the first 12 months I did exactly that, until I came to a sudden halt! Upon reflection of this I realised that there were certain methods of marketing my business I enjoyed more than others. Have a look at what you are currently doing in the way of building more relationships and what you mostly enjoy from this. Keep doing more of those things and let go of the rest. Re-evaluate every 6 months because as you expand your awareness, your mindset expands and in turn you may find yourself wanting to try different ways.

When was the last time you did something really spontaneous because it felt right in that very moment? When getting out of your head and acting in the moment with more intuitive spontaneity, by trusting your initial feelings, then you will open up the channels to more fun, more creativity and even more successful results from the inside out.

Coaching Tip

I was listening to the radio this morning and heard them asking for callers to ring in if you have ever been in a television commercial. In that very moment I had this strong feeling to ring in and share my experiences of 3 television commercials I did about 14 years ago. If you were listening to 94.5fm this morning, then that was me about 7.20am this morning. Anyway, what I noticed in my sharing was the excitement I felt in the moment of making the commercials which I had totally pushed aside as a part of my past. This has triggered some pretty proud feelings inside of me with the realisation of just how much spontaneity and trusting your actions, plays a huge part in contributing to you having more fun and a better quality of  life.

Practice being more spontaneous today by taking actions from your initial feelings (with integrity) and notice how much of your life opens up to new opportunities.
