This conversation would have to be the most challenging for many of my clients because they feel selfish or even guilty about taking time out for themselves each day. The only real time they get to take ‘time out’ is if they book a holiday or if they are forced through illness or by even catching a cold. This is always a signal that you are not living your life in alignment with your truth and possibly trying to compare yourself too much to others and how they are living their life.

It takes so much more energy and strain on your mind-body-soul when acting like you have it all together – so I am giving you full permission today to let go of the person you think you have to be to succeed and begin to BE true to yourself each day. If you continue to follow your own path and trust this by taking flowing consistent actions with inner peace and knowing, then you will definitely create a life of purpose, prosperity, abundance and loving fulfilment in so many ways.

Having your own vision gives you more purpose and meaning to life. A vision will support you in times of doubt, especially when you face challenges and you start to question the who, what, and how you want to live your life, based on what’s most important to you. Knowing your heart’s vision will help you to maintain your focus and live a life you love.

Coaching Tip

A couple of important things to remember when identifying your vision is to make sure it is not future based alone. For your vision to be fulfilling you need to identify what is important to you based on your values and take action on these each and every day.

For example, you may have a strong family value and your vision may be to have a loving and connected relationship with your family – then your action may be to make time each day to connect with your family (not wait for the holidays). When you act on this, your life has instant purpose with valued meaning.

When you create a relationship with money in a positive light and think of it as ‘being of valuable service’ helping others to improve their way of life; that is when you will begin to attract the financial abundance your heart truly desires. I often hear clients say that they are sabotaging their own financial success due to an old belief. They are feeling frustrated because they are putting in a lot of time, energy and money on building relationships in business and not reaping the financial rewards. If you are noticing yourself repelling the profits you so desire in your business, then begin to change your way of thinking around money.

Start to see money as an energy source that you are receiving because you have made a difference to the life of another person by giving a valuable service. The value for this life changing service is in the form of  money being exchanged. Allow youself to receive unlimited abundance by fixing your focus on how many people you have built valuable relationships with.

Did you know that you have already visualised how your day is going to go? Yes, it happens that easily and unconsciously as you move into your day. The very moment you think about your day ahead is the moment you are visualising your day in advance. Choose to consciously visualise the day you want to have, who you want to be inside your day and how you want to manage your time by using the power of vision each day.

Never underestimate the power of your mind which is always visualising your ‘make it or break it’ day through your thoughts, feelings and actions. Yes, you are in control if you consciously take charge of your mindset which will always affect your results in life. Practice the simple art of conscious visualisation by planning your day in advance (yes, write it down) and then do a 2 minute visualisation seeing yourself taking the actions you have planned with flowing success.

Choose 3 empowering words that you are committed to being throughout your day i.e. enthusiastic, assertive, relaxed. Yes, it is a daily practice for old habits to be transformed … so relax and enjoy the journey. Let me know how you go!

Are you the type of person who is continually on the treadmill of working harder, even when you know your body is craving for time off to rejuvenate your batteries with your mind looking for the switch off button? You will achieve better results by taking shorter time-out breaks for your mind and your body on a regular basis, rather than continuing to run on that treadmill until you drop.

Coaching Tip

Take a moment right now to do what I call ‘check-in time’ to listen to your body, and your mind, as to what you most need right now so that you can continually flow on all cylinders. Instead of thinking “I just need to make it until Xmas, then I can have a break”, especially if you know this is overdue.

Decide today to take a day or two just for you to switch off. If this seems difficult for you to manage, then start with half a day and expand from there. It all begins with you giving yourself permission to do things differently and this starts by listening to your body. Your results will be much bigger and better in the long run when you set up regular short breaks of rejuvenation.

When you follow your intuitive vision each day, it is then that you will live your life with more flow knowing that you are listening and taking actions according to your real self; not that part of you who tells you what you should be doing to get ahead in life.

Your intuitive vision is made up of those nudges that keep cropping up for you in ways of senses and deeper feelings of knowing. Those hunches, words and images of real desire telling you to do something different, or bringing something new into your life, or even the desire of changing old habits that do not support your journey today. The main part of this is to listen to that part of you who knows there is more to you and your life with a deep knowing it is time to start being that person.

Begin today with those things you know you can do differently and take action trusting your own intuitive vision; even if you cannot see all the steps in front of you, just begin to take small steps each day and you will begin to see changes for the better in your life.

Having a supportive mindset is essential for your success. If you have a negative critic inside that continually controls your thoughts, then you will never achieve what you say you want in life without the stress and strain. If you want to achieve what you say you want in every area of your life, then begin to tame your inner critic – do not make it wrong – just catch it and replace it with a positive and supportive self-statements.

Coaching Tip

The inner critic is sometimes known as the chitter chatter going on inside your mind. The Buddha’s call it ‘monkey mind’. To actualize what you say you want in life, you need to become conscious about what you keep telling yourself, about yourself, which will be your automatic beliefs that will determine your results in life.

For example, if you keep telling yourself  “I never have enough time to get things done”; then your belief is your time is always limited. Your body will feel like it is always chasing time, with the stress that goes along with this way of thinking. This is purely because you keep telling yourself that you don’t have enough time and it is now become your truth dictating your quality of  life.

Change your beliefs through positive self-statements on a daily basis and begin to tell yourself “I have plenty of time”. 
Yes, it needs to be repetitive until your new belief is automatic. This same principle also applies to Money, Career, Relationships, Business, Health, Confidence etc.

Inside a coaching conversation last week, a client was looking for part time work so that he could supplement the growth of his small business. When I asked him what he was specifically looking for so that he could fully express his strengths, knowledge, skills and talents…he answered that he had no real idea, other than what was on his resume’.

I then asked whether he was looking for part time work coming from an empowered position or with feelings of disempowerment because his dream business was not moving as quickly as he had initially hoped for. He told me that he felt totally disempowered. After asking a few empowering questions helping him to link his strengths and what he most enjoyed about his previous positions and his current business – we found his values based link.

He walked away knowing exactly what to look for and because of this he had a sense of ownership knowing that he was the one interviewing them to see whether the position was suitable for his full self-expression. He is now in an empowered position of choice.

Begin to write down your strengths, passions, knowledge, skills and values. Look at the areas in your life where you are already self-expressing these and notice where you would like to practice a greater sense of self-expression for fulfilling success.

One of the most common fears I hear my clients talk about is their fear of not succeeding or not having enough money. Most of the time, they both go hand in hand. Let’s talk about Money in this case and how to breakthrough this fear.

There are 3 steps :  1.  Challenge your current beliefs around money….  2.  Create new and supportive beliefs based on your values with money…  3.  Take responsible action in the physical management of your money each week.

Begin today to take small steps in creating a relationship with money so that you can move forward with consistency. Remember “Rome was not built in a day” and I definitely had to learn patience around this one personally because money beliefs tend to uncover deep emotions. With patience and consistent action you will breakthrough this.
