Self-Care is the most nurturing and the most effective healing process to living the life you were born to live with mind-body-soul connection. This conversation would have to be the most challenging for many of my clients because they feel selfish or even guilty about taking time out for themselves each day. The only real time they get to take ‘time out’ is if they book a holiday or if they are forced through illness or by even catching a cold. This is always a signal that you are not living your life in alignment with your truth and possibly trying to compare yourself too much to others and how they are living their life.

It takes so much more energy and strain on your mind-body-soul when acting like you have it all together – so I am giving you full permission today to let go of the person you think you have to be to succeed and begin to BE true to yourself each day. Having your own vision gives you more purpose and meaning to life. A vision will support you in times of doubt, especially when you face challenges and you start to question the who, what, and how you want to live your life, based on what’s most important to you. Coaching Tip

A couple of important things to remember when identifying your vision is to make sure it is not future based alone. For your vision to be fulfilling you need to identify what is important to you based on your values and take action on these each and every day.

For example, you may have a strong family value and your vision may be to have a loving and connected relationship with your family – then your action may be to make time each day to connect with your family (not wait for the holidays). When you act on this, your life has instant purpose with valued meaning.

I often hear clients say that they are sabotaging their own financial success due to an old belief. Start to see money as an energy source that you are receiving because you have made a difference to the life of another person by giving a valuable service. Did you know that you have already visualised how your day is going to go? Yes, it happens that easily and unconsciously as you move into your day. The very moment you think about your day ahead is the moment you are visualising your day in advance. Choose to consciously visualise the day you want to have, who you want to be inside your day and how you want to manage your time by using the power of vision each day.

Never underestimate the power of your mind which is always visualising your ‘make it or break it’ day through your thoughts, feelings and actions. Yes, you are in control if you consciously take charge of your mindset which will always affect your results in life. Practice the simple art of conscious visualisation by planning your day in advance (yes, write it down) and then do a 2 minute visualisation seeing yourself taking the actions you have planned with flowing success.

Choose 3 empowering words that you are committed to being throughout your day i.e. enthusiastic, assertive, relaxed. Yes, it is a daily practice for old habits to be transformed … so relax and enjoy the journey. Let me know how you go!

Are you the type of person who is continually on the treadmill of working harder, even when you know your body is craving for time off to rejuvenate your batteries with your mind looking for the switch off button? You will achieve better results by taking shorter time-out breaks for your mind and your body on a regular basis, rather than continuing to run on that treadmill until you drop.

Coaching Tip

Take a moment right now to do what I call ‘check-in time’ to listen to your body, and your mind, as to what you most need right now so that you can continually flow on all cylinders. Instead of thinking “I just need to make it until Xmas, then I can have a break”, especially if you know this is overdue.

Decide today to take a day or two just for you to switch off. If this seems difficult for you to manage, then start with half a day and expand from there. It all begins with you giving yourself permission to do things differently and this starts by listening to your body. Your results will be much bigger and better in the long run when you set up regular short breaks of rejuvenation.

If you are continually trying to find the right way of doing things in your life, then you will never feel like you are moving forward achieving your heart’s desired life vision. Did you know that there is no right way of doing things? The right way is what feels right to you in the moment of making a decision. Notice whether you are sitting on the fence waiting for the right way to appear and decide to trust and take action on what feels right to you in each moment.

Coaching Tip

This was the theme that continually came up last night during a workshop I was conducting. Many were looking for the right way of setting up their life and their business feeling stuck in procrastination, overwhelm and frustrated about not moving forward in their desired direction. It takes trust in yourself to practice listening to what feels right to you, especially if you have not lived your life like this. It has taken me many years to practice this one as I was always looking for the right answers outside of myself – thinking that other people knew the right way of doing things.

This is not the truth because only you know what is right for you. I encourage you, as I encouraged those in the workshop last night, to practice listening, trusting and taking actions each day on what feels right to you. Keeping in mind that with every decision you make there is always learning lessons (never mistakes). You will continue to learn and develop better right ways in fulfilling your life.

There are times where you may be feeling at a loss or noticing that things just are not running smoothly leaving you feeling no clear direction in life. Notice what you are focussing on. It is easy to fall into the habit of focussing on what is not working and to not even see those things that are working. To live with a clear direction in life is to focus on taking simple steps in the important areas to you and acknowledge every little step you take.

Coaching Tip

Your mind can play tricks on you and sabotage your clear direction in life. I remember how my mind would complex life and make it harder than what it truly was. This became a non-supportive habit which I decided to change using 3 steps.

1. I placed a sign up in my office as a reminder which said “Keep It Simple Annette”.

2. I committed to simplify everything in my life and to catch myself whenever I made it harder than it truly was.

3. To remain focussed on what is important to me and to acknowledge what is working in my life each day.

Attraction is the opposite to promotion or seduction. To be attractive means that good stuff naturally comes to you. As you develop personally and professionally, you may prefer to become attractive to opportunities, others, potential customers, ourselves and the future, rather than being better at promoting, marketing, seducing, controlling or manipulating. The Art of Attraction is certainly an easier way to live life without pushing and striving through life.

Coaching Tip

Ways to Practice your Attraction way of life; instead of pushing or striving are:

• Create a strong vision of what you truly desire
• Set strong personal and professional boundaries
• Live your life with integrity
• Create a reserve of time, space, energy and money
• Take extreme self-care and invest in yourself
• Live in the present and act on what is important first
• Identify what you are ‘putting up with’ and clean them up NOW
• Acknowledge yourself for every little step you take
• Create a ‘done list’ - instead of a ‘to do list’
• Add value for the joy of it
• Acknowledge others around you
• Find what you love doing and ‘live to work’ – not ‘work to live’

Your fears are a natural part of you which will always guide you to live your true potential. When you gently face your fears and take responsible actions, your fears will become your friend which will always move you towards living a life you love with a natural flow of ongoing success and fulfilment. By observing your fears, instead of drowning inside them, you will hear your knowing next steps.

One of the most common fears I hear my clients talk about is their fear of not succeeding or not having enough money. Most of the time, they both go hand in hand. Let’s talk about Money in this case and how to breakthrough this fear.

There are 3 steps :  1.  Challenge your current beliefs around money….  2.  Create new and supportive beliefs based on your values with money…  3.  Take responsible action in the physical management of your money each week.

Begin today to take small steps in creating a relationship with money so that you can move forward with consistency. Remember “Rome was not built in a day” and I definitely had to learn patience around this one personally because money beliefs tend to uncover deep emotions. With patience and consistent action you will breakthrough this.

Everyday there are clues to your success. Whether you are in your flow or in a state of frustration; both are indicators to what real success IS to you. Yes, believe it or not…even if you are having a frustrating day your mind and body are being guided to take new actions. Begin to take notice of what your flow and frustrations are attempting to draw your attention towards so that you can steer in the direction of your fulfilling life success.

Coaching Tip

Become conscious as to the feeling of being in your flow or your frustration as you move throughout your day. Know that both are paramount to listen to, especially not to make your frustrations wrong as they are trying to steer you in the right direction for you – if you listen to it.

As you check in with your flow and/or your frustrations throughout the day; you may find yourself arriving early to work or noticing the rush in getting the children to school or the staff member not being accountable or the surprise phone call from your partner or the unexpected gas bill. Remember, both your flow and your frustrations are telling you to take new actions – are you listening and acting on Your Clues to Life Success?
