True happiness and fulfilment in life occurs when you have the courage to trust your instincts and act on what your inner knowing is telling you. This is when you are truly ‘Living in your Flow’ with life showing up in such a way where you begin to see the ideal opportunities appearing right before your very eyes without the struggle.

Coaching Tip

If you are the type of person who lives life trying to ‘get it right’, ‘comparing yourself to others’ or ‘too busy being busy’, then you will never give yourself a chance to Live in your Flow because you are emeshed in other people’s flow – it is not your flow.

Begin today to trust your instincts and inner knowing ‘one small step at a time’ to act on what you already know is your flow. This will develop and evolve into your whole life giving you natural peace, happiness and fulfilment. It can be that simple if you practice ‘with patience’ over time.

Are you stuck on the neverending treadmill of reacting to circumstances, people, emails, phone calls, the long to do list etc. wondering how on earth will you ever get a break in the cycle? Commit today to make the change for the better by setting up your day in a proactive and productive manner instead of being reactive. You can start by combining those things which you enjoy doing and those things which need to be done inside your day in order to maintain a healthy soul-satisfying balance.

Coaching Tip

If you do not manage your time, then time will manage you. Begin to design your day by diarising your priorities inside an allocated time and date which you know you want to achieve against realistic time frames. Practice being fully present by focusing in on one action at a time following your diary. Set up clear boundaries so that you do not allow unexpected interruptions to step into your prioritized actions.

Begin today to be your own best friend and support your own success by valuing your time including everything that is of value to you and your success.

When starting something new, it is normal to possibly feel a little nervous wondering if it is all going to work out. This is a part of growth and taking yourself and your life to the next level. When feelings of uncertainty arise for you, make sure you focus on your heartfelt intention with each step you take. As you create solid foundations, you will notice a natural flair of confidence, certainty and trust in your ability. A big tip is to practice patience with supportive self-talk.

Stop Procrastinating and Increase Energy

How often do you find yourself pleasantly surprised when you finally take that first step just how much extra energy and enthusiasm you gain which propels you into feeling inspired to take the next steps from there? It always amazes me how the energy increases ten fold when finally taking an inspired action that you may have been pondering over for quite some time.

Coaching Tip

How often have you heard yourself saying… “Why didn’t I just do it in the first place without all that worry and concern?” I can certainly relate to this one when finally taking an action that I have been wanting to take for some time. The next time you find yourself pondering or procrastinating over an action you know you want to take, make a decision what the first step is and when you are going to do it.

By the way, there is NO Right Step – trust your intuition and take the step which feels right for you at that time. You will be surprised just how much you will achieve when you live by the model …‘Decision + Action = Results’.

Stuck in a Rut! How to Change Your Future

Living life utilising your unique strengths will give you the success, the happiness, the health and the wealth you are looking for in life. Stop waiting for the so called ‘big break’ to happen to you. Begin to identify what you are good at and what you enjoy doing in your work life and your personal life. Start to build a bridge from where you are today and activate how you truly want to live.

Coaching Tip

Where you start to look is to keep a notepad in your pocket or in your bag and notice whatever you are doing with your time. Write down the activity and check in with your feelings as to whether you enjoy doing this particular activity or whether you are doing this activity because of a habit. The things you notice you enjoy doing are your unique strengths. Make sure these activities are a part of your business life and your personal life so that you stop the drainage of energy and regain passion and focus in your whole life.

Better Communication for Loving Relationships

Your relationships in life will be much more harmonious, with you always being heard (and gotten),
when you use ‘Heart to Heart’ communications. This is when you commit to speaking from your heart
into another person’s heart maintaining a neutral tone of voice coming from love and respect for yourself and the other person. Stay in your heart and create deeper and fulfilling relationships today.

Coaching Tip

Practice today communicating from your heart focussing on a win/win outcome. Remember, the most effective way to create harmony and change is to stay calm in your tone of voice, breath, and speak from your heart – not your head.

When you get uptight, just know that you are going into your head and that is your indication to bite your tongue, breath (this will give you the space to go into your heart), then speak calmly and assertively. When communicating ‘Head to Head’, it is easy to blurt out something that you can never take back. By the way when you say something hurtful to someone, did you know that you hurt yourself first!

Yes, it takes practice if you are someone like I was always coming from a defensive and reactive attitude. Be patient with yourself and others.

When you plan your day ahead – the night before – you are more likely to create a flow of achievement throughout your day. The reason for this is because you program yourself through conscious planning taking this into your dream state whilst sleeping. You will wake up naturally stepping into your day with clarity and confidence knowing exactly that you have consciously set up your day for flowing success.

Coaching Tip

Yes, I know there can be unexpected things show up inside your day especially if you have children to get to school, or staff who need training, or lots of phone calls to return etc. When you practice preparing your day – the night before – you will be amazed over time just how much the universe will re-arrange things to support your day. Decide today to practice planning your day ‘the night before’ and notice the new flow occurring throughout your day.

Are you living your ‘life style’ every day from your heart or are you dreaming of your lifestyle as a future thing that will happen when you ‘have enough money, time, energy’? Your ‘life style’ is how you choose to set up your day bringing in everything that is important to you according to your values. Set up the ‘life style’ that suits you.

Coaching Tip

I use to think that I could only live my desired lifestyle when I retired with enough money and time. Today I know it has nothing to do with these things. Sure money and time are important; yet what is more important is how you spend your time. It is all about knowing who you are and what is important to you, then making sure you create the ‘style of life’ spending time doing those things.

Set up a conscious life style plan and begin to put those things in place on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis. My experience is, it is always the simple things in life that are the most desired each day that create success, contentment, real wealth and inner peace. Make sure you start there.

When The Going Gets Tough…What Do You Do?

There are times when the going gets tough in life when you find yourself facing unexpected challenges. Many people push through and hope it will all work out somehow, only to find themselves in the same place or feeling even more depleted later along their life journey. The more you practice surrendering to the art of letting go through conscious self-care and supportive self-talk, especially during those tough times, you will always develop greater insight about yourself giving you the richness of life.

Coaching Tip

I use to live with the motto ‘when the going gets tough…the tough get going’ (remember the song). I don’t know about you, but I know there are times that the old school way of dealing with challenges does not work like it use to. I learnt the hard way that when trying to push through without the nurturing self-care, it will always appear right before your very eyes again with stronger emotion.

Practice being gentle on yourself if you are finding yourself going through some tough times. Here are a few ways I use in my daily self-care practice which may support you also that I thought you might like to give a try eg. deep breathing meditation, journal writing, affirmations and mirror work, speaking gently to my inner child, being patient with yourself, consciously setting up your day to support you, your work and your family.
