Getting Caught Up in Your Busy Mind!

Today’s Inspiration
How often do you find yourself caught up in your busy mind? This can drive you crazy leaving you feeling exhausted at the end of the day; especially if you are the sort of person who has difficulty switching off. With the daily practice of deep breathing and simple relaxation techniques you can live and work in your zone with more of a flow each day.
Coaching Tip
This one is real close to my heart because I admit it… “I am a head person” and to keep me sane each day I have learnt real simple techniques that support me in blending the happy medium of using logic through knowledge and sensory perception through intuitive gut feelings.
One of the easiest and simples ways of doing this is to consciously take deep breaths throughout your day and feeling your breath go right down into your belly. This will instantly take you out of your head helping to relax your whole body. Give it a try today by consciously taking 3-5 deep breaths every hour. Never underestimate the power of your breath because it is the very thing that gives you more clarity in your Life.

Coaching Tip
Make the decision over the next month to practice turning inwards and listening to your own intuitive voice and guidance. Make decisions and take actions as you see best for you at the time, not as others would tell you how to do things or how things should be done. The important reason for this is when you see others making confident decisions for themselves, this is always based on their own perceptions and beliefs from their life. If you follow their path – it will not be congruent with your own path and you will ultimately feel less satisfaction. Blaze your own trail and become the leader of your own life.

Whenever you take yourself and your life to the next level of success, you may find yourself being faced with some form of inner self-talk that may be challenging you and questioning whether you have made the right decision or not. Just know that your feelings of anxiousness, doubt, overwhelm etc. are normal when you advance yourself outside of your familiar way of life. Good on you for trusting yourself and stepping out there in a bigger way.
Coaching Tip
No this does not mean you are going backwards in life whenever you have these feelings. What it means is that you are stepping outside of your comfort zone and whenever you do this, that part of you which likes normality will feel scared in some way. No this is not a form of weakness – it actually is a strength when you notice it and support yourself to take your next step from the heart in moving you further towards your bigger vision.
Look at all the things in your life that are working and stop focussing on the ‘what if’ fears of the future. You know those voices that say ‘what if I don’t get enough clients’, ‘what if I cannot pay the bills’, what if I fail’? Stay calm and do not resist these fears – befriend them by listening and talking to them in a nurturing way – then back yourself up with supportive actions and by creating solid foundational systems in your life and business for continued success.

Become aware of your self-talk and begin to catch if what you are telling yourself is supporting you in
this very moment or is it sabotaging your success. What you continually tell yourself will dictate your
actions (both positive and negative) and ultimately giving you the same results in life. So choose wisely and become the CEO of your mind and your life today developing self-assurance for continued success.

Never underestimate the power of positive self-talk with the utilisation of daily affirmations. This is what changed my life for the better many years ago; even when I felt I did not believe it. I felt silly saying positive things to myself when my habitual thinking about life was negative with my life being ‘stuck in a rut’ because of my way of thinking. Many of my clients have started listening to their inner self talk and their feedback has been amazing telling me that it has allowed them to feel and act with more self-assurance and confidence. It is changing their lives in so many positive ways. Begin to notice your own self-talk today and become your own best friend.

By linking your present challenges with a past success you will always rekindle your self-confidence
and trust in yourself with a true knowing that you have succeeded in the past, and you can do it again
inside your current situations. You may need to dig deep to have a look for the slightest feelings of
what success truly feels like to you from the inside out – not just the tangible results.
Coaching Tip
Every time you feel yourself stuck and wanting to move forward; always link something from your past that you were proud of accomplishing. To do this you need to recall in your body and your mind the way you felt when moving forward and what type of person you became to accomplish this. Bring those feelings into your present moment and practice being that type of person inside your current situation. Remember your sub-conscious does not know the difference between past, present and future; in other words ‘what you tell yourself often enough with emotive feelings, will always affect your results in life.
