By getting conscious about the things you enjoy doing and those things you are good at doing, you create a natural enthusiasm and passion from within every time you partake in those activities.

When I first heard about the concept of utilising my innate strengths and making money from these, I scoffed and pushed this possible way of life away. This truly was not in my radar as I just did not think that way. Little did I know that this new possible concept, when I was open to having a look at what my strengths were; and then by becoming conscious about the things I did enjoy doing ~ just how much it was shaping my life to helping me turn my passionate strengths into a profitable lifestyle today.

Notice in your life where you are utilising your strengths, what you enjoy doing in your personal and professional life; and where else can you express yourself in ways that you are passionate about. Enjoy the journey.

When your work is your passion, it then does not feel like work. Your passion is always something you love expressing in a creative way. When you identify what you are passionate about, this is very exciting because you can then create your life’s work by way of a service or a product to share with others who need or want to experience this also. Your life will become a full expression of your passion every day.

Coaching Tip

Yes it takes consistent action expressing your passionate life work as a business so that you can make money and pay the bills. What I am saying is to look at your current workplace or business and identify the areas which you are most passionate about because this can be easily misplaced inside the busyness. This can also take you right off your path. In some way today you will already be expressing your passion, become really conscious about where you notice time stands still when you are doing certain activities during your day – this is a big hint.

When looking back over my past 32 years of different types of employment, every position I was in played a major part of me identifying my passionate life work today. If you are wanting more passion in your workplace or business, then this is the first step.

One of the most common things I hear from business owners is that they do not have time to work on their business. They are feeling snowed under with all the concerns and worries about getting ahead financially, so much so, that they do not set the basic foundations up in their business. It is crucial to spend regular business development and personal development time (yes each week) for working on your business and yourself; at the same time as inside your business.

Set 1 full day aside each week ….I hear you gasping…. Okay start with ½ a day each week….just start somewhere in being disciplined and committed to putting time aside each week to reflect on what’s working and what you would like to improve and/or expand on. Stop living in a world of reaction and remember the motto “what you manage and appreciate….will always grow and expand for you”.

How Much do you Value What you Already Are Doing?

It is very easy to take for granted what you are already doing well for your clients because this is now a natural part of who you are and what you do. Did you know that the very things you are already doing well is the very path of your solid foundation to stand on in taking  yourself and your business to the next level of success with even more confidence and clarity.

Coaching Tip

If you do not value what you do, then who will! Just for the next 3 months, put a pause button on looking outside of yourself for improvement and go inside to reflect on what it is you are already doing well. I can assure you that you have been doing something of value that your clients and customers know you for. Become really aware of your strengths and the valued services you provide that fill a need for your clients. Set up systems for these and begin to do more of this by setting up a marketing plan for 2010 based on your specialty which is normally the stuff you are most passionate about – just do more of this and keep it very simple. Once you have created your plan and you see an opportunity for added value which you want to learn more about, then you can go out to seek new knowledge with conscious awareness knowing exactly know this supports you, your clients and your business. Trust that you already have heaps of knowledge within yourself today and utilise it to the max. This will save you on time, money, energy etc. etc.

p.s. This is the same procedure when it comes to all areas of life i.e. relationships, health & fitness, money etc.
