The Power of Quiet Time

How often do you walk into a room and turn the radio, television or computer on? There is so much of this that contributes to your stimulation creating more stress in life. When taking time just to ‘be still’ even for a few minutes each day, you will be able to hear yourself think clearly. The answers to the changes you have been wanting to make are inside your quiet time.

Coaching Tip

I remember when I first started practicing ‘being still’ just how resistant I was to doing it because I felt like I was wasting time. If you are also in this position, then hang in there, and allow yourself to feel the resistance. Just notice your head talk telling you that you should be doing other things and do it anyway.  What I found over time was that if I did not make time to be still, just how much I was not in the flow and no matter how busy I was, life was no different.

Take 5 minutes each day for the next 3 weeks just to sit and ‘be still’. Focus on taking deep breaths, notice your thoughts and write down your intuitive messages. Yes, you will need to do it over a period of time to settle your own resistance which is always a form of sabotage.
