When starting something new, there can be feelings of uncertainty, self-doubt, excitement and a sense of being overwhelmed – all wrapped up in one package. Give yourself time for trial and error, to see what works for you and what doesn’t work for you – with loads of patience, especially if you are wanting it all to happen today!
Coaching Tip
If you have an impatient nature, as I do at times, and want to be able to achieve goals ‘yesterday’, that is when the excitement starts to diminish. What happens is that we start to place high expectations on ourselves to achieve, which can cause ‘stresses and a feeling of underachievement. We can also start to question our own capabilities and decisions. One of the things I always remind myself and my clients, is that it takes time to set up a new routine. This is an ongoing process, as you develop and find better ways to manage your daily life, on your path of living your vision.
