When you focus on building relationships with people you enjoy being with and have something in common with, then it is so much easier to attract your ideal clients. By taking the focus off ‘getting the next client’ and remaining focused on building genuine relationships, you will create an instant lifestyle with people you really enjoy connecting with who will connect you with more of the same type of people.
Coaching Tip
Marketing your business does not need to be uncomfortable. When I first started my business, I did not enjoy this part at all because I thought I had to network everywhere with everybody and as much as I could. In the first 12 months I did exactly that, until I came to a sudden halt! Upon reflection of this I realised that there were certain methods of marketing my business I enjoyed more than others. Have a look at what you are currently doing in the way of building more relationships and what you mostly enjoy from this. Keep doing more of those things and let go of the rest. Re-evaluate every 6 months because as you expand your awareness, your mindset expands and in turn you may find yourself wanting to try different ways.
